CHINESE BUSINESS VISA REQUIREMENTS

Please prepare, gather and send the following documents

1. Valid and Original Passport
Original passport and one photocopy of information page. Your passport must have at least six (6) months of remaining validity before expiration and must have at least one blank visa page for visa stamp.
Applicants who were born in China are required to submit your Chinese passport or last foreign passport in addition to your US passport.
If you apply for a multiple entry visa, submit a written explanation why a multiple entry visa is needed.
Additional requirements for non U.S citizens:

- Non-US passport holders must submit a copy of their green cards or valid U.S visas
- Multiple entry visa is not available for non U.S passport holders. All non-US passport only receive 2-month visa with a maximum stay of 30 days in China.

2. Application Form
Click here to complete, print out and sign the application form; each form per applicant.

3. Passport Photo
One recent passport photo glued or stapled on the application form.

4. Proof of departure
One copy of your flight itinerary from the airline or travel agency, or copy of airline ticket or letter from travel agency.
Note: Applicants requesting rush service (same day or 3-4 days) must provide airline itinerary showing departure date within 7 days.

5. Business letter and/or Visa Notification

Business Invitation letter from sponsoring company or any organization in China, or business letter from your own company on your company letterhead, addressed to Consulate general of the People's Republic of China in San Franciso, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant’s employment status/position held in the company, number of entries needed, clearly stating the purpose of visit to China, providing contact information in host country and indicating who will be financially responsible for the applicant.

Visa Notification is an official invitation issued by the China Ministry of Foreign Affairs or from China Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Commission or from any authorized government entity. This invitation should be arranged by your host in China.

Option 2: Door-to-door service fee. We will pick up visa applications from your home or office, hand-carry them to the consulate for processing and return your passports to your home or office. (Door-to-door service fees not applicable if you use mail option above.)

Please note:

Pick-up and drop-off service is available for residents of counties of San Francisco, San Mateo, Alameda, Sonoma, Solano, Sacramento and Yolo.

8. Payment method:
We accept check, money order, cashier check and credit card (Credit card payment is subject to a $3 or 3% processing charge, whichever is greater).
Please make one check or money payable to Door2Door Visa Service (Returned check is subject to $25 penalty).

9. Please send the following documents to Door2Door Visa Service via Fedex UPS or other security mail:
1. Your original actual passport and one photocopy of the passport
2. One application form per applicant
3. One passport style photo
4. Proof of departure (if requesting rush/express service)
5. Business letter and/or Visa Notification Form
6. Door2Door Visa Service Order Form
7. Your check or money order payable to Door2Door Visa Service
8. Other documents if necessary, such as copy of your green card

For same day service, application(s) must be received before 8:30AM Pacific time.

Processing time means the time it takes for the consulate to process your visa application. Please allow us some extra time for handling.
